On Tuesday the 8th January Lord Bach will once again be in the House of Lords' and again the unresolved matter of legal aid for welfare benefit appeal cases in the first tier tribunal comes before his fellow peers on the question of what better offer is forthcoming from government.
You can read the lead up to the last debate here with a full transcript and all the links you need to refer back to the very poor offer which government came back with after Kenneth Clarke made a firm concessionary promise in the House of Commons when amendments made in the Lords' to the legal aid sentencing and punishment of offenders bill were rejected by government on the grounds of 'financial privilege - that was way back on the 17th April last year.
Listen to the above video and catch what Lord McNally says, ironically he was to give away his government's absolute intention to go back on their word over a satisfactory solution on this now long outstanding issue. Mcnally showed his true colours as he drew his speech to a close just after giving Mylegal a mention as he wound up and made clear his intention.
