Looks like there was a bit of an election love out down in East Hampshire in the run up to the run up to the recent election; - the fall out was over the way funding of the local CAB was being withdrawn by the Tory run council.

Tory Threat to Citizens Advice Bureau In a move bound to cause hardship to the most needy the Conservative run East Hampshire District Council have slashed funding to the Citizens Advice Bureau by 20%. This despite keeping an allowance of £2000 for “Limousine Hire” for council use.
Commenting about these cuts, Lib Dem Candidate for EHDC Chris Mills said “Times are hard. The Citizens Advice Bureau is needed now more than ever, and the out of touch Conservatives in Penns Place slash its funding. Do they care about the impact it will have on people and other overstretched community groups?”
"SO MUCH FOR THE BIG SOCIETY!" - they say!
