Free advice when times are hard

Mrs P talks of the free advice at CAB

"I have been struggling with debt for several years and the constant harassment from creditors was making me ill with the stress and the demands. In the past Bolton CAB had helped me get some of the debts set aside. I could have gone to a debt management company but they would have charged me and that would have been yet another bill to pay."

Our debt only began to get really stressful this year especially with the added burden of redundancy. It was a relief to be able to talk to someone face to face at the CAB and get the free help and advice needed.
