Mylegal is moving....
Here's a little help to find
your new home....
Firstly, there's no need to panic, in just a few clicks you'll soon be in the new Mylegal home...
What some of you may not realise is that Mylegal is part of the ilegal network, both ilegal & Mylegal have always worked very much in parallel to keep you in the picture over changes in social welfare law and the legal aid system; a system which once upon a time provided us with a way of providing you with very effective legal solutions to all manner of social welfare justice problems.
As far as Mylegal followers are concerned we've just moved Mylegal to a different place. Mylegal isn't disappearing - far from it! All of the posts will still be accessible but the new interface for Mylegal viewers will now be on the ilegal forum. The very popular Ilegal network was founded by Patrick Torsney who's a veritable expert on all things legal aid; he's also an ardent social justice campaigner who works pretty much non - stop in pursuit of social justice. You can check out some of the many areas which ilegal covers here
Patrick has upgraded the forum to a newer and much easier to use version, I think it's so much easier to use and I promise you the new upgrade will enable us to provide you with some really great new posts!
It's something the ilegal network has been working on for some time, ilegal's founder Patrick has recently been very busy upgrading the main ilegal site to a much friendlier interface called 'Proboard Version 5'. You can find out more here about all the new features which have been built in. We think it will definitely improve your viewing experience and make it easier for you to interact directly with social welfare specialists and professionals all in one place.
Do Mylegal members need to do anything?
If you have already registered on ilegal and upgraded your membership you do not need to do anything. Just have a look around the site and you will soon seen where Mylegal is sited. You can visit the new Mylegal location by using this link.
For those of you have not registered and upgraded on ilegal just go to the ilegal home page here and click on "register" in the navigation bar just under the banner image. It is very easy, takes a couple of minutes, doesn't ask loads of questions and is completely free of charge.
Once you are in you will then be able to go straight to the Mylegal location as per the link above. You can also read a very warm welcome by 'Peer of the Year' Lord Bach who I'm delighted to say is an ardent ilegal and Mylegal fan who fought a brilliant battle in the House of Lord's for us in opposing the savage cuts to social welfare legal aid, he wants to carry on working with us in finding other solutions to make sure people can get the proper level of help they need; it is vital that any government is held to account and never has this been more important than now with so many sweeping changes to the welfare state in this county.
From now on all new posts will appear in the new Mylegal section of ilegal and any which are ongoing from here will have a direct link at the end to where the topic continues on ilegal
At some point towards the end of this month we will archive this forum but you will still be able to view all the posts.
If you get stuck on anything please just leave a question for me or Patrick on this thread and we'll help you overcome any obstacles; although so far so good - it all appears to be working fine.
Nothing changes on Twitter by the way, Mylegalforum on Twitter will stay exactly the same and followers will be provided with links which will take you to where all the new posts appear on the Mylegal section of ilegal.
If there are specific posts which you would like me to move to the new location please let me know so I can transfer them over, I have moved some already.
Many thanks and welcome to the new integration
of Mylegal into the ilegal forum!
